Pacific Southwest Airlines (PSA) was a United States airline headquartered in San Diego, California. Founded in 1949, PSA was the first large discount airline in the United States. PSA's slogan was "The World's Friendliest Airline". They even had a smile on the nose of its airplanes. PSA ceased operations in 1988, when it was one of two airlines to merge into US Air.
